Carcross RCMP looking to identify summer mischief suspects

Carcross RCMP have been investigating an act of mischief that occurred at the Skukum Gold Mine property on Annie Lake Road last August. Investigators are now looking to identify two men seen on the property on the day of the incident.

On August 2nd 2016, a passerby on the nearby trails contacted police to report damage to the Skukum Gold Mine property. The individual also reported having seen two men and a woman, as well as an older white Chevrolet truck in the area that day.

The driver of the truck is described as a Caucasian man with short blond hair, and was seen wearing a dark coloured t-shirt on the day of the incident. The passenger is described as a man with short brown hair and mustache, and was seen wearing an orange t-shirt and grey baseball hat.

Damage to property is estimated at $7500.

Carcross RCMP are interested in speaking with anyone who may have information on these individuals, or who may have witnessed anything suspicious near the property on August 2nd, 2016.
