Update: Kings District RCMP continue to search for missing man

Kings District RCMP continues to investigate the disappearance of 62-year-old James Bell from Morristown Mr. Bell left his residence on Prospect Rd. on January 4 at noon. He was given a drive to Berwick, and was last seen walking along Orchard St. in Berwick at 2:30 p.m. The original news release indicated that he was last seen at 1 p.m. however further information has indicated that he was last seen later in the day. Mr. Bell has not been seen since.

Since then, the Valley GSAR team supported by the Annapolis Valley and West Hants teams were involved in searching for him. An RCMP helicopter and Police Dog Services has also searched multiple areas.

The RCMP and the family and friends of James Bell continue to be concerned for his safety, and encourage anyone who has information about his whereabouts to contact Kings District RCMP at 902- 679-5555.
