The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in locating a man wanted for attempted murder and aggravated assault.

On October 16, 2019, a warrant was issued in Moncton Provincial Court for 25-year-old Olivier Tumba. He is charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault. The charges stem from a shooting that took place on October 9 at a licensed establishment on Champlain Street in Dieppe. When RCMP arrived they found two men, ages 32 and 25, suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and police efforts to locate Olivier Tumba continue.

Olivier Tumba is described as being five feet nine inches (175 centimetres) tall and weighing 140 pounds (64 kilograms). He has dark hair, brown eyes and a tattoo on his right forearm that says "F.O.A We may not have it all together but together we have it all."

Anyone who sees Olivier Tumba is encouraged not to approach him and to call 911 immediately.
