RCMP Halifax District investigating robbery in Lower Sackville

RCMP Halifax District is investigating a robbery that occurred tonight at 6:59 p.m. at a store in the 200 block of Sackville Drive.

A lone male entered the store, wearing a bandana over his face and demanded money from the clerk. No weapon was seen but the suspect had his hand in his pocket as if he had a firearm. The male then fled the store on foot after taking money. Patrols were made in the area and a police service dog was called in, but the suspect was not located.

The male is described as white, approximately 5–foot-8, thin, early 20's, brown eyes, wearing a black hoodie and dark pants.

The investigation is ongoing and is currently being investigated by the Halifax Integrated General Investigative Section, which is composed of members from the RCMP and Halifax Regional Police.
