RCMP respond to reports of a firearm being discharged

On September 14, 2019, at 10:15 am, Beausejour RCMP responded to a residence on 2nd Street North in Beausejour on a report that a firearm had been discharged earlier that morning at approximately 6:20 am.

Officers arrived on scene and located a residence on 2nd Street North with damage to the front living room window, front door, as well as to the exterior siding which was consistent with being struck by bullets.

The scene was examined and officers seized numerous bullet casings from the street.

RCMP suspect the home was targeted and no injuries were reported.
