Serious Injury Crash - Benjamin Bridge

At 2:06 p.m. New Minas RCMP responded to a single vehicle crash on a commercial property in White Rock. A heavy piece of equipment carrying large rocks lost control and went into a wooded area on the property. Two males were in the vehicle, the driver a 51-year-old Centreville man, was taken by life flight to the QE II with what is believed to be life threatening injuries. A second man jumped from the vehicle, he was taken to Valley Regional Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
