News release

Three men have been identified and arrested in connection with an assault outside a pool hall in Moncton in May.

On May 26, 2019, shortly after 2:15 a.m. police responded to a 911 call at Dooly's on Mountain Road. Upon arrival, police located two 35-year-old men who had been injured outside the establishment. One of the victims was transported to hospital for treatment.

In July, the Codiac Regional RCMP released surveillance video photos of three people who were persons of interest in their investigation into the assault.

As a result of information received from the public, a 19-year-old man and two 20-year-old men, all from the Moncton area, were arrested.

All three were released on promises to appear in Moncton Provincial Court in separate dates in October and November, and are expected to face charges related to the assault.

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance.
