Two arrested after shots fired in Moser River

Two men have been arrested after shots were fired Friday night in Moser River.

At approximately 9 p.m. on September 13, RCMP officers became aware of shots fired on Parkers Loop in Moser River. RCMP officers from Cole Harbour, Tantallon, Musquodoboit Harbour and Sheet Harbour RCMP detachments responded.

A preliminary investigation determined that shots had been fired by two parties and both parties were known to each other. There were no reported injuries. Both parties a 26 year-old man from Moser River and a 56 year-old man from Moser River were arrested without incident. They have been remanded into custody. Charges are pending.

The RCMP-HRP Criminal Investigation Division's General Investigation Section are leading the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
