Yellowknife RCMP investigate after vehicle reported stolen

Yellowknife RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in locating a suspect in an alleged vehicle theft.

At approximately 6:45 pm on Saturday, August 10, 2019, Yellowknife RCMP received a report of a vehicle stolen. RCMP began an investigation, and requested security video footage of areas around down, including a gas station on 49th Avenue and Forrest Drive.

vehicle was located, however, RCMP are seeking to speak with the person who was driving it. driver was a male. The vehicle was described as a Blue 1996 GMC Safari van.
