On October 9, 2021, at approximately 6:40 pm, Nelson House RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing at a residence on Hillside Drive, on Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation.
Officers immediately attended and located a 15-year-old male victim suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to the nursing station and subsequently transported to a hospital.
Officers arrested a male youth at the scene.
A 13-year-old male from Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation, is facing a charge of Assault with a Weapon and was released with an upcoming court date.
The victim was treated and released from hospital.
Nelson House RCMP continue to investigate.
