Victoria County District RCMP has charged a man in relation to a sexual assault investigation in Tarbot, Victoria County.
On October 9, Victoria County District RCMP received a report that a man had touched a 10-year-old girl in a sexual manner at a home in Tarbot. The man and the victim were not previously known to each other. Police arrested the 54-year-old man on October 11 without incident.
Trevor Patrick Brewer has been charged with Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference. Brewer has been released from custody with conditions and is scheduled to appear in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court on December 1 at 10 a.m.
