Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Investigating suspicious death in Black Lake

On March 20, 2024 at approximately 8:20 p.m., Black Lake RCMP received a report of an injured male at a residence in Black Lake.

Officers responded and located the injured adult male. He was transferred by EMS to hospital and later declared deceased. He has been identified as 52-year-old Victor Robillard from Black Lake Denesuline First Nation. His family has been notified and victim services made available to them.

His death is considered suspicious and Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is investigating.

If investigators determine an imminent public safety risk exists, we will notify the public.
