Whitehorse RCMP seek to identify armed robbery suspect

Whitehorse RCMP is seeking to identify the suspect in an armed robbery that took place in the early morning of February 20th, 2024.

Police were called to the Petro Canada on 4th Avenue, Whitehorse. The caller said that the suspect entered the store brandishing a weapon and stole cash from the till. An employee was also assaulted by the suspect during this incident.

The suspect is described as being a Caucasian, possibly female. The suspect was wearing a tied up grey hoody that covered most of their face, a black jacket, black pants, and black footwear.

Police were contacted after the suspect left the store and conducted patrols which have been unsuccessful in locating the suspect.
